✅ Do
- Keep all chat and payments on Shiba World.
- Pay reservation deposits through our secure on-platform checkout.
- Prefer verified breeders (look for the ✓ badge) and read reviews.
- Ask for health testing (OFA/CHIC), registration (AKC/NIPPO/JKC) and a video call with the puppy and its parents.
🚫 Never
- Wire money, or pay with gift cards, crypto, Zelle, Cash App or Western Union.
- Move the conversation to WhatsApp/Telegram before paying — scammers push this to avoid our protections.
- Send a deposit before verifying the breeder and seeing the actual puppy on a live video call.
Red flags
- Price far below market, or pressure to pay immediately.
- Refusal to do a live video call.
- Stock-looking photos (reverse-image-search them).
- Requests to pay only by untraceable methods.
